I was pretty skeptical about the whole “washable rug” thing. We live in an apartment with shared laundry, so tossing a rug into the wash didn’t seem realistic (and there’s no way this would fit in a standard machine anyway). But honestly, it hasn’t mattered – this rug has handled everything we’ve thrown at it (and on it) without needing a deep clean yet.

Between muddy paws, shedding, and a couple of puppy messes, the rug’s held up really well. It doesn’t trap smells, and the subtle pattern does a good job of hiding dirt between cleanings. Bowie claimed it as his go-to nap spot the second we rolled it out, and I’m not about to argue with him.

Also worth mentioning – it’s really soft. Bowie stretches out on it daily, and guests always comment on how nice it feels underfoot.
